About Test My Electrics
Neil "Big Dog" Claxton
Neil is the founder, QS and Managing Director of Test My Electrics. He founded the company in August 2020 after many years working for other companies gaining a wide range of knowledge and expertise.
Neil's speciality is consumer units. He also likes rewires and renewables.
No problem is too much for Neil he will always go above and beyond to keep his clients happy!

Dawn "D Dog" Hodge
Dawn is the face, or more so, the voice of Test My Electrics. She is who you call if you need anything.
Dawn has fantastic experience in management and works hard behind the scenes to make sure our day runs smoothly.

David "Davie" Yeo
David is Neil's right hand man. Although they are like chalk and cheese they compliment each other well. Their work ethic is like no other.
Like Neil, David believes electrical safety is paramount.
David has a wide range of knowledge too, ranging from door entry and fire alarms to street lighting and rewires.

Dan is the happiest man in the world. He will win you over with how polite and friendly he is.

Colin is the more experienced member of the team. He has had a lot of experience in management and supervising in the past. His knowledge ranges from domestic installations to renewables.

Duncan is our newest electrician. He qualified from an adult apprenticeship just a few years ago but his willingness to learn and fantastic attitude makes him an asset to the team!

Aaron "Jeff" Claxton
Affectionately known as Jeff, young Aaron is our apprentice. He is a typical teenager really with many many sides. If he can stay off his phone for more than two minutes, he may talk to you.

Aaron "Jeff 2" Graham
Aaron is an adult apprentice. He is younger than he looks though. Very keen worker who asks lots of questions.

Also known as "Gorgeous George", oor Geo is a fantastic asset to Test My Electrics. He is our labourer / driver who came out of retirement to help the team.

Billy is a qualified QS and also has his own company Elecsafe Ayrshire. He is an incredible electrician and we are delighted to have him in our team.
