Neil founded Test My Electrics with a clear mission — to bring honesty, transparency, and genuine expertise to the electrical testing industry in Ayrshire. With years of hands-on experience as a qualified electrician and a passion for doing things properly, Neil leads by example on every job.

Keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes, Allan deals with everything from scheduling and logistics to compliance oversight and quality control. Every job runs on time and to standard because of the systems and processes in place.

Our senior engineer, Davie, leads on EICR testing, periodic inspection, and complex compliance work. With a meticulous approach to reporting and a deep knowledge of the regulations, he ensures every certificate we issue is accurate, thorough, and defensible.

From fuse box replacements and rewires to fault finding and new installations, Dan brings skill, care, and professionalism to every domestic and commercial job. Customers regularly comment on his tidiness and clear communication on site.

Specialising in commercial and industrial electrical work, Ryan handles everything from three-phase distribution boards to large-scale rewires. His methodical approach and attention to detail make him a trusted pair of hands on complex projects.

Duncan is a domestic specialist with a strong track record across Ayrshire, handling EICRs, fuse board upgrades, and new circuit installations. Known for his clean, tidy work and clear communication with homeowners throughout every job.

When something isn't working and nobody can figure out why, we send Josh (Jeff 3). A skilled fault-finder with years of experience diagnosing complex electrical problems in both domestic and commercial properties.

Our EV charger and renewables specialist, Billy is fully trained and accredited to install home and commercial EV charging points. Keeps up with the latest developments in smart charging, solar integration, and energy efficiency.

A dedicated testing and certification engineer who ensures every EICR and electrical installation certificate we issue meets the highest standard. Precise, thorough, and committed to getting the report right first time.

The first voice many of our customers hear is Amber's and she is the reason so many of them comment on how easy we are to deal with. Handles enquiries, bookings, and certification administration with warmth and efficiency.

Keeping the back office running smoothly and dealing with our social media, Kaylee does the lot! She deals with document management and compliance filing. The organisational backbone that ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Aaron (Jeff 2) is our Adult Trainee and he is making excellent progress and already trusted on a wide range of jobs. Learning from some of the best in the trade and building the skills and habits that will define a long career.

Aaron (Jeff 1) is our newest apprentice, just starting out on what promises to be a great career in the trade. Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and already showing the kind of attitude that fits perfectly with the Test My Electrics way of working.

Making great progress through the second year of training, Taylor (Jeff 4) is building real confidence on site and taking on more complex tasks under supervision. A strong work ethic and a great attitude make them a valued part of the team.
